Is Steamdle a daily game or can I play more than once a day?

Steamdle runs in unlimited mode by default, so you can start a brand new round as many times as you like. There's no daily lock and no countdown timer.

How many guesses do I get per round?

Six. Each incorrect guess reveals another Steam screenshot from the mystery game to help narrow things down.

Where do the screenshots and game data come from?

Steamdle loads its full library, 445 real Steam titles with official store screenshots, from an external JSON file, so the game list can be refreshed without touching any code.

What do the settings control?

Settings let you restrict rounds to well-known games only, switch between a cropped-zoom or blurred reveal style, and turn on optional price and release-year hints.

Is my progress saved anywhere?

Your stats, current streak, and preferences are saved locally in your browser's storage only. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing your browser data resets them.
